Cornwall Open Studios

Open Studios gives residents and visitors to Cornwall alike, the opportunity to visit the studios of over a hundred of the artists and craftspeople who work in the county. They are able to purchase artworks, talk to the artists about their work and the artists are able to sell their work direct to the client. Visitors to Open Studios tend to visit more than one studio and use the opportunity to visit other retail and catering outlets in the area.

Last year an average of 107 people visited each of the 124 exhibiting artists and spent an average of 705.26 each on artwork. 2008 will be the third year of Open Studios Cornwall and so far 175 artists have requested application packs to be included in the event.
